Soon-to-be-released looter shooter Borderlands 3’s co-op will feature a ping system like Respawn Entertainment’s Battle Royale game Apex Legends.
The latter’s accessibility earned it some high praise after the free-to-play title was released this February. Moreover, the ping system that allows players to point out areas, loot, or enemies had been a compelling aspect of the game.
With the third installment from the Borderlands franchise poised for launch in September, developer Gearbox has released a video showing off the new pinging ability. Similar to that in Apex Legends, this ability will assist players in marking the enemies and loot mentioned previously, such that chatting is not an absolute necessity for multiplayer.
The game also boasts other neat accessibility features including Xbox Adaptive Controller support, re-mappable controls, subtitles and closed captioning options. There’s also a feature which allows for players of different levels to play together called level scaling.
