One of the best things about the all-electric BMW iX1 xDrive30 is its size. While you still get space, a decent ride height, fab interior plus lots of tech features and functions, it’s ideally suited to a range of UK roads. The car feels relatively compact and is also impressively agile, with a battery range up to 270 miles. You get sprightly performance too, with plenty of torque, which is supplemented by a ‘Boost’ feature that helps to zing up acceleration for ten seconds if you need it. A 0-62mph time of 5.7 seconds and 112mph top speed should keep most drivers satisfied during day-to-day driving duties however.
