As with every previous generation, the BMW 5-Series tops its class in most areas. With the optional navigation system, the technology interface is top drawer and the 5-Series feels like a quality item to sit in and is easy to live with. It’s also great if you’re a company car driver in taxation terms and drives very well. Just ask yourself the question whether you really need the extra space and status it brings before choosing one over a 3-Series.
