The Priv sees BlackBerry trying to hang on to all the popular elements of its devices, while taking it in a new direction. As an Android phone, there’s some innovation on the software side, and for those wanting a physical keyboard, this is about the only option. The Priv is a good handset, but there’s scope for performance improvements and the lack of a fingerprint scanner is a glaring omission.
