Today, the developers at Pearl Abyss have unveiled a new advanced battlefield, Secret Shultz Fortress. They’ve also showed off an improved enhancement system for Black Desert Mobile.
These two new features are designed with high level players in mind who are looking for new challenges or to enhance their high-end gear even further. Secret Shultz Fortress is a high-tier zone with powerful enemies that drop valuable rewards, and Awakened Enhancement lets players use Pristine Black Crystals to enhance their gear above level 40.
The news dropped on the game’s website as part of the 4/21 Patch. While there were a number of other updates like the new weekly special collection, tweaks to the layout of the CP Breakdown page, and other improvements, these two features introduce the most significant changes to the game.
The Secret Shultz Forest will be challenging for even the toughest adventurers, but if players can come out standing they’ll have a plethora of valuable loot and gear. The Awakened Enhancement mechanic is a nice addition to boost a player’s strength even further, but it does come with some significant grinding and cost as obtaining a higher level is less and less likely resulting in wasted time and resources. The Advice of Valks does help with the success rate, but you’re still in for a grind to obtain not only the Black Stones and Black Crystals, but also to offset the ones you are going to lose in the process.
