Fans of Batman comics have waited a long time for the release of Batman: Three Jokers, but unfortunately, the first issue has been subjected to a delay caused by the coronavirus. The good news is that there is still a solid release date, and it isn’t even that far off, as the first issue should release on August 25th.

Initially, Batman: Three Jokers was scheduled to release on June 17th, but complications caused by the current state of things have made that impossible. That said, artist Jason Fabok has shared that the artwork is already finished, and the team at DC Comics is using this time to make the first issue even better.

For those unaware, Batman: Three Jokers was teased over four years ago in 2016, and is such an exciting event as it is said to be the spiritual sequel to the infamous Batman: The Killing Joke storyline. That alone is reason enough for fans to be excited.

Once the first issue does finally release in August, the series will presumably ship monthly from there, with the second issue releasing in September and the third issue releasing in October. The Killing Joke is known for being extremely emotional and traumatic, so fans should try and be prepared for this adventure.
