AtGames’ popular Legends Ultimate Arcade is making a return on August 31. Previously introduced towards the end of 2019, the home arcade quickly sold out and was hit with production delays due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, the company is introducing a revamped version of the cabinet that will include 300 games and retails for just $599.

You’ll be able to pick it up at most retailers, including GameStop, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. You can even get it shipped across the pond to Europe if required. The manufacturer is significantly ramping up production to help meet demand, but we’d still recommend moving quickly if you’re hoping to add this cool new cabinet to your gaming room.

The Legends Ultimate Arcade holds a library of 300 titles, including iconic hits from Atari, Data East, Jelco, The Tetris Company, and Disney. The entire lineup can be found on AtGames’ official website, but here are some of our favorites:

  • Tempest Missile Command Zoo Keeper Space Invaders Tron Centipede

The cabinet’s control panel features two joysticks, six action buttons for each player, a trackball, and two spinners, giving users everything they need to enjoy every game exactly how the developers intended.

The ‘connected and expandable’ full-sized cabinet lets you expand your roster of accessible games by subscribing to the ArcadeNet program — a service that sees frequent updates and brings new titles to the arcade. It also includes a feature titled ‘Bring Your Own Game,’ letting users stream PC-based titles.

Weekly firmware releases, leaderboards, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity — the Legends Ultimate Arcade is seeking to modernize the age-old arcade cabinet. And, beyond all the fancy tech, there is a grounded approach to piecing together the hardware — all told, AtGames says the assembly time should last no longer than ten minutes.

The Legends Ultimate Arcade will be available on August 31 and retails for $599. Here’s hoping that it stays in stock long enough for all interested players to get their hands on the innovative cabinet.
